Get ready guys and gals, because this dress is going to be your new favourite.
The Hell Bunny Aberdeen 50's Dress comes in several colourways, but this pastel blue one is absolutely darling. The pattern is a timeless tartan, but a refreshing change from the common red and green palette.
The material is a medium-heavy weight, woven tartan, with a little stretch. It's so soft, it's like wearing your favourite blanket. Totally picnic worthy.
I'm wearing my standard Hell Bunny 3xl and have found it true to size. The sweetheart neckline is flattering, and the capped sleeves have ample room for full movement. The high back has a sturdy centre zip with hook and eye, giving the back of the dress a smooth finish.
The full circle skirt is twirl-worthy, and while I've added a Kitty Deluxe cinch belt to pick out the white in the tartan, it's not a necessity- the seam already gives a nice definition to the waist.
My favourite feature of the Aberdeen (apart from how soft it is) is the large pockets. There's enough room for a smartphone, keys and a lipstick.
