Reviewing the Mika Spin Doctor dress in an XL and the Pamela Mann 140 Denier Microfibre Tights in an XL (16/18).

Velvet dresses for life!  I’m usually a UK 18 or a 16/18 in Dolly and Dotty, Lady V London and Collectif. I'm between a 2XL and an XL in Hell Bunny. I bought the last Mika dress and it’s an XL. It fits really well and it’s really comfy. Love the higher neckline. As I’ve gotten older I’ve learnt to like it more and more. 

The Pamela Mann 140 Denier Microfibre (non-curvy) Tights, however are AWESOME. I bought a 120 Denier pair last time around in the same size (16/18). This time they feel a little snug on my thighs, but since my memory is bad, the others could have too. They change with wear and become less tight. They sit in all the right places and are super comfy. I also bought the Curvy Burgundy Tights in XL, which were equally great. I find them to be the right size, but I’m only 5’3” tall with long legs and a short torso, but I think they’d be OK on someone taller. I have worn these all day and they haven’t shifted or felt uncomfortable. I’d definitely happily wear them everywhere, under anything.
