- Hell Bunny Jolene Mini dress in Green -
The Hell Bunny Jolene is a halter mini dress but as you can see, it's knee length on me (I'm 5'2").
Unlike a lot of Hell Bunny halters, this one doesn't have any shirring (elasticated panels) at the back. This means I'm wearing my usual Hell Bunny 3xl and it does up like all my other dresses in this size. There is a little stretch, but not much. The dress has a waist seam and darts in the bodice, and the back has a centre zip with a hook and eye.
The halter straps are long, and can easily be converted into a cross over back if halters aren't your thing- just search YouTube for a tutorial.
I adore the classic polka dots, and the green is a fresh change from standard red, black and white polka dot prints. The light weight fabric means it's perfect for Aussie summer days- like today (it's 40 degrees here)
My favourite part of this dress is the velvet trim details on the bodice and border, and the velvet bows on the pockets and centre of the bodice. The pockets are just small decorative front ones, but big enough for some whiskey miniatures on Christmas Day
