Collectif Betty Picnic Top (Pre-order)

Today this gorgeous Collectif Betty Picnic Top arrived. I’ve paired it for my try on with the Steady Clothing Thrills skirt I also purchased from Kitty Deluxe a few months ago as this is what I bought it to wear with!

The top is beautiful quality. It’s really well constructed, it’s a thick cotton style so it isn’t see through, however it will still be cool enough as we move back towards summer.

There is elastic in the sleeves but I didn’t find it tight. It has a zip in the back and with my thick neck it is firm but I can breathe!

This is my first Collectif piece and I loved the print so much I ordered a UK26 as that was all that was left and I was expecting I’d need to take it in. As there is absolutely no stretch, it is currently fitted on me. This is the same kind of fit as a Hell Bunny 4X on me so their sizing is definitely graded differently and smaller. Because I have a wide back and B cups it fits perfectly, but for ladies with larger cups it may be rather tight.

It is a crop so what you see here is it sitting right on the waist band of my skirt.

Overall I’m really happy with it and by the time the weather gets warmer again I’ll have lost some Covid-padding so it should sit even better :)
